This fall, I am teaching Spanish 1 using the TPRS (Total Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) with my Spanish 1 class. The purpose of this blog is to post the stories as we create them in class so the students and parents have access to the stories. It also will be a record of how the class has progressed from the start of the year knowing little or no Spanish to being able to talk, read, and write in the language at the end of the semester.
The first days of school were spent teaching vocabulary with TPR (Total Physical Response) and then we moved on to TPRS.
